Closure of Link Radio (2019)

It is with regret that after being in operation for more than 30years, a decision has been made to take Link Radio off air and to close the charity. This has been a very hard decision to come to and not one that has been taken lightly. Radio outage (26-30 May 2017)

Due to an unforeseen and ongoing power outage at the Link Radio studio, we were unable to provide radio between the morning of Friday 26th May and early afternoon on Tuesday 30th May. Please accept our sincere apologies for this outage.

Sue Sincock (May 2017)

It is with sadness that we announce that our long-time friend and contributor Sue Sincock has passed away. As well as being an active member of the Dickens Fellowship, Sue contributed to our work at Link Radio, including recording a popular poetry series known as "Sue's Selections". Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.

London Marathon (23 April 2017)

A big thankyou and congratulations to our marathon runners for their fantastic efforts this year.

We hope to be able to get them into the studio soon, so that you can hear directly from them about their experiences. We will also post more information on our marathon page as soon as we have it.

Presentation Evening (23 Sept 2016)

We were very pleased to host this year's celebration of our Marathon runners' and Ride London cyclists' success on Friday 23rd September, at Castle Point Council Offices. The Mayor,Cllr Stephen Coles, presented the trophies, watched by an audience of family, friends, and supporters of Link, including Rebecca Harris M.P.

John Brennan (June 2016)

Link Radio

It is with sadness that we announce that our founder, Chairman and friend, John Brennan, died on 30th June, 2016. Link Radio would not exist without him and he gave a huge amount of his time to other community ventures.

He will be greatly missed.
